Enterprise Israel is the Israeli consortia of the Enterprise Europe Network.
The Network is made up of 600 local contact points employing a total of nearly 3 000 experienced staff spread around Europe. These are the contact points across Europe and beyond for business. Most partners in the Network are operated by consortia of qualified regional organizations such as chambers of commerce, regional development agencies and university technology centers.
The Enterprise Europe Network is an initiative of the European Commission's Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry. It is a key instrument of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), which focuses on supporting SMEs in their growth and innovation activities.
The Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) is responsible for managing the Network on a daily basis; this includes training, communication, information, contract management, quality control and reporting.
Enterprise Israel has four partners, MATIMOP, the coordinator, MAI, IEICI, and JIIS.
